PostWicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

Rule #3: Don't stare at invisible faeries.
Aislinn has always seen faeries. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in mortal world. Aislinn fears their cruelty—especially if they learn of her Sight—and wishes she were as blind to their presence as other teens.

Rule #2: Don't speak to invisible faeries.
Now faeries are stalking her. One of them, Keenan, who is equal parts terrifying and alluring, is trying to talk to her, asking questions Aislinn is afraid to answer.

Rule #1: Don't ever attract their attention.
But it's too late. Keenan is the Summer King who has sought his queen for nine centuries. Without her, summer itself will perish. He is determined that Aislinn will become the Summer Queen at any cost—regardless of her plans or desires.

Suddenly none of the rules that have kept Aislinn safe are working anymore, and everything is on the line: her freedom; her best friend, Seth; her life; everything.

Faerie intrigue, mortal love, and the clash of ancient rules and modern expectations swirl together in Melissa Marr's stunning 21st century faery tale
.

First Impression: I was never ever fond of faeries. I started reading Ink Exchange. In a day I read 100 pages. I was addictive to it. I knew I would like it. Especially if I read 100 pages in one day. Later, I found out that Ink Exchange wasn't the first book. That Wicked Lovely was. So I checked it out read it and here I am reviewing it.

Cover: The cover is lovely. Very Happy The whole glittery thing is amazing. Even though you can't really see it in the picture. But if you've read the book then you'll know it's a lovely cover. I think the cover always buys me or speaks to me to read it.

Characters: Ailinn and Seth are wonderful characters. The faeries Donia and Kennan are wonderful faeries. Aislinn has this thing, I don't know how to explain. She's been afraid of faeries her whole life. And yet here comes Kennan and she seems to feel an attachment to him. But Seth, the boy who's waited 7 months for her. He's a loveable character. And then there's Donia who I loved at first but at the end of the book she's just selfish and did everything to stay with Kennan. The characters were written beautifully and with a lot of detail.

Like/Dislikes: Other than the evil faeries, I liked the book. Oh, and I dislike Beina, I think that's how you spell her name. Wink

Recommendation: If you like faeries. I recommend it. If you don't still read it!

I know this is a short review. But honestly, it's my first one ever. Embarassed
I'll improve in my next one. Very Happy
