Which do you prefer in a book of first person, present of past tense?
For examples present would be like : "I walk to the bed. She comes to sit next to me." that sort of thing
while past would be like: "I walked to the bed and she came to sit nest to me."

I personnally like past better. Its easier to flow through that way for me.

Ahh i see!
I have eyesight probelms when it comes to reading and i know this might sound weird but maybe my eyes respond better to past tense because when i read present tense its like im looking for past tense

I prefer reading first person in past tense..I just make sense of what's being said quicker that way =]

Past tense definitely. It's also easier for me to write that way too. I like past, but I it always feels like present and like I'm in the story still. Two of my favorite books are in present though, so I don't mind either way I guess, but I prefer overall Past.

looks like i am the only one that really likes the present. the funny thing is that i dont really mind that much i just dont want to read a book that is going down in the 1841 or like a 100 years back
