A Love, Longing and Story About Waiting
The Time Traveler's Wife
Audrey Niffenegger

A dazzling novel in the most untraditional fashion, this is the remarkable story of Henry DeTamble, a dashing, adventuresome librarian who travels involuntarily through time, and Clare Abshire, an artist whose life takes a natural sequential course. Henry and Clare's passionate love affair endures across a sea of time and captures the two lovers in an impossibly romantic trap, and it is Audrey Niffenegger's cinematic storytelling that makes the novel's unconventional chronology so vibrantly triumphant.
An enchanting debut and a spellbinding tale of fate and belief in the bonds of love, The Time Traveler's Wife is destined to captivate readers for years to come.

First Impression:
From what I remembered. I had seen the book in stores. But I never picked it up. Not until my friend at school recommended the book. She told me what it was about. A love story and time travel. It sounded very sweet. She put the book on hold for me at my school's library. I got it the following day, Monday. I started reading the book and I stayed up at night reading 100's of pages a night. I hadn't read that late until Twilight. I completely fell in love with the writing style and especially the characters.

Henry DeTamble is a time traveler. He has always been one since he was six years old. Clare Abshire meets Henry at the age of six when he lands in the forest. The book is told in both Henry's and Clare's point of views. It makes you feel the pain of Clare when Henry leaves at no given time. And how Henry feels when he disappears and can't go back to his wife. The characters are well written and it makes you feel the love that this two characters have for each other. The characters were beautifully written. Breath taking.

Writing Style:
I never really liked books with two characters point of views. But this book was totally and completely well written by Ms. Niffenegger. The way she wrote each character is amazing. With good themes and a story about true love.

At first I didn't know what the cover represented but after reading the book I got it. The cover is beautiful and goes with the story. I won't tell you why. I'll leave you to find out.

None. It's just that good. There's nothing wrong or something I didn't like. I loved every word.

Final Thoughts:
It's my favorite book. Not book series. But book. I think it's been within me since the day I finished the book and stayed up thinking about the characters and how their love was so strong after everything they went through.

YES! I totally recommend the book to anyone who is a sucker for a love story and still have a little sci-fi in it. I've recommended it to some of my friends and they all loved it.

As everyone knows. The book was adapted into a film. And of course I went to watch it. I went the day it came out. Overall, for a movie, it was good. But based on a book. No, it wasn't. I wish they could've stuck with the book ending. It was the best ending ever! Not so much in the movie. I like Eric Bana as Henry. Rachel MacAdams as Clare, not so much. In my opinion, she didn't potray the character as I imagined she would. Yes, I watched The Notebook. And it was a great movie. I had faith in her. But I was disappointed by her performance as Clare. I wish Eric could've come out more. He was amazing as Henry.

And you can see cause of my avatar how much I love it. I love you
