I'm a medium length series girl. I find that short series (3 books) are too short (however I'll make exceptions since I think the Twilight Saga was fine without Breaking Dawn) and that really long series (like what House Of Night will eventually be) are too long and lose my attention.

I like in the middles series, Harry Potter is the biggest collection of books I think I've read (that I can think of) and they still hold my attention.

In my opinion anything over 7 books is too much ><

I like long series but only if there are well written and can keep your interest without getting boring.

I like medium ones too. I like trilogies, but I prefer at least 4 books. I just think when people do long series, it just gets out of control. Like with HoN. It's just getting worse each book and they could have ended it with a bang with Hunted. Vampire Academy is the longest series I've read (or will read when the next one comes out). It's just incredible.

I agree I prefer anything between 4-6 books in a series. Anything more and it starts to get a bit boring if the writer can't keep the readers entertained. I'm really worried HoN is going to end up like that for me. I love HoN but I'm worried its just going to go on and on

Long series to me is either something like Harry Potter or something like with Tamora Pierce's books where she has a whole bunch of different series that are all connected, but about different people. I like that because it keeps my interest since the viewpoint changes. Plus, Tamora Pierce is amazing. I could read anything by her and not get bored XD.

It already is like that for me. She should have stopped at the 5th book.
