well I have been reading a lot of female main charters from Zoey redbird from the house of night to morganville vampires which all have strong female leads but not this book no.
Nick the main charter has to one of the funniest main charters I have ever read about. He has this whole other side of him locked away unknown to anyone until his mates shoot him and leave him for dead. After that point, his life goes from being the local pick on target for every bully the fated his mum is a sexy dancer working all hours to look after her family. Nick dad is a murder in prison but unknown to him his dad is a completely evil hell bent on taking over the world (yep crazy evil charter you only see once)
so nicks life is a complete mess up but after real life zombies come to town things start to make a little more seance and he soon understands that his more than just a back chatting teen.
The whole story is well written with no time to get bored with ether an attack around one corner or so much funny back chat you'll laugh till you cry it's an amazing ride with a mix of funny sad and down right fab story line you well wish it would never end.
